Access to and use of the services of Getaway Guild, LLC (“Getaway Guild”) and our website are subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). By accessing, using or obtaining any content, products, or services through our employees, agents or through our website, the customer, purchaser, and/or traveler agree to be bound by these terms. Please read the Terms and Conditions before using this website. If you do not accept all of these terms, then please do not use our services or our websites. No alterations to these terms and conditions may be made by any Getaway Guild employee, advisor, representative or agent, unless in writing by an authorized officer of Getaway Guild.
At Getaway Guild we pride ourselves on providing professional, thoughtful, and honest service to create and facilitate memorable travel experiences for our clients. Your partnership in the process is important. To that end, please review & acknowledge our terms & conditions (the "Agreement"). The terms "I', "me", and "my" refer to the individual who uses this website and/or Getaway Guild services.
I have agreed to retain Getaway Guild to make travel arrangements on my behalf. I understand that Getaway Guild is not the source or supplier of the travel services I have requested, and acts solely as an agent for the suppliers of travel services, including but not limited to: airlines, hotels, transport companies, cruise lines, car rental agencies, and tour operators. I consent to and request the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold Getaway Guild responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services I have purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes me any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.
I have received or will receive a summary of charges for the travel services, and I agree that the obligation of Getaway Guild is limited to remitting such charges to the travel suppliers identified in the travel documents or to a third party that shall make such remittance.
Separate supplier terms and conditions will apply to the reservation and purchase of travel-related goods and services. I agree to abide by the terms and conditions of purchase imposed by Getaway Guild and any supplier, including but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier’s rules and restrictions regarding availability and use of fares, products, or services. I understand that any violation of any such supplier’s conditions of purchase may result in cancellation of my reservation(s) or purchase, in my being denied access to any flights, hotels, cruises, or automobiles, in forfeiting any monies paid for such reservation(s) or purchase, and in Getaway Guild debiting my account for any costs Getaway Guild incurs as a result of such violation. I shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of my travel bookings through Getaway Guild.
Any fees paid directly to Getaway Guild for planning and booking my travel arrangements are not an obligation of Getaway Guild to guarantee the quality or timing of my travel plans. I acknowledge that Getaway Guild is not responsible for, nor will I attempt to hold it liable for, any injury, damage or loss I may suffer on account of any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control.
I understand that currency exchange rates fluctuate. Prices are subject to change based upon currency exchange rate fluctuations.
I understand that travel may involve the risk of a variety of hazards to health and/or safety, including, but not limited to, illness, crime, and terrorism. Travelers assume the risk of all inherent dangers, whether known or unknown, in any way connected to the travel services. Getaway Guild shall not be liable for costs, damages, or losses that may result from travel. To assist me in making an informed decision about my destination, I should refer to an objective and reputable source, such as the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov).
For international travel, a passport is required and should be valid for at least six months beyond scheduled return date. I understand that depending on my destination and nationality, a visa may be required. Additionally, my destination may include requirements for blank pages in my passport for entry. I agree that passport validity, blank pages, and obtaining a visa are solely my responsibility, and I agree not to hold Getaway Guild liable for entry requirements. For domestic travel, I understand that government-issued identification is required in order to board a flight. I further acknowledge that beginning on May 3, 2023, I must present a driver’s license or another form of identification that complies with the requirements of the Federal Real ID Act. Each foreign country holds different views of past criminal offenses, whether within or outside of their boundaries. If a traveler has a current or past offense, and is unsure how the country you are traveling to (or through) views that offense, please contact that country directly for entry and exit requirements. I understand that I am solely responsible for providing accurate information to Getaway Guild. This includes but is not limited to: full passport names, passport numbers, dates of travel, departure and arrival details, and any other pertinent information requested by Getaway Guild. Any consequences as a result of providing inaccurate information or a failure to provide information are my responsibility, and not the obligation or liability of Getaway Guild. This includes any additional fees or penalties incurred, or travel delays or cancellations.
I agree to review all travel documents for accuracy upon receipt and understand that I may contact Getaway Guild if I have any questions. I agree to review all terms & conditions set by the travel suppliers, including penalties for change and cancellation of services.
I understand that Getaway Guild strongly recommends that I purchase travel insurance to protect my trip investment. I agree that Getaway Guild cannot interpret insurance coverage; it is my responsibility to understand the benefits and limits of travel insurance coverage. The purchase of travel insurance does not guarantee a claim will be paid; all claims are subject to review from the travel insurance provider. Getaway Guild will not be held liable for any travel insurance claims that are not paid or are denied from any travel insurance provider. Should I choose not to purchase travel insurance, I agree that Getaway Guild will not be held liable for any losses incurred.
I affirm that this agreement is binding for me as well as all of my traveling companions involved in the travel arrangements made through Getaway Guild.
Air Policy
Commercial and private air is secured via SmartFlyer Air Desk, a team of air experts with detailed knowledge and decades of experience. The SmartFlyer Air Desk works to secure the best possible routings and most comfortable configuration for your trip. In the unfortunate instance that something doesn't go as planned with your flight, the Air Team is your primary point of contact ensuring that you never have to worry about waiting on hold with an airline, or worse, queuing at the airport.
Air Service Fees:
Commercial Domestic Air: $50 per ticketed passenger
Commercial International Air: $100 per ticketed passenger
Commercial Air Change Fee: $25 per change, per person
No booking fees for private charter, but private air is subject to cancellation fees and change fees. Cancellation fee equal to 5% of base charter will be invoiced directly to client at cancellation.
Air Policies & Reminders:
Names must appear on your ticket exactly as they appear on your passport. Failure to comply may result in denied boarding or delays at check-in or security.
At time of ticketing, please advise: seating preferences, Global entry or Trusted Traveler numbers, and/or frequent flyer numbers.
Once tickets are issued, they are nonrefundable. Any changes may incur fees and collection of fare difference.
Fares are subject to change until tickets are issued.
Once tickets are issued, access your reservation on the airline app or website using your airline reservation code to reconfirm your day-of-travel contact information, seat assignments, and passenger information.
We strongly recommend downloading the airline app, particularly for most accurate day-of-travel information.
Check in for your flights on the app or airline website 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure time, or as soon as you are able.
For international travel, passports must be valid for at least six months beyond scheduled return date.
Travelers are responsible for compliance with any and all entry requirements, including visa and vaccination requirements.
Passengers are subject to airline rules, regulations, and the Conditions of Carriage. Airlines have the right to strike, cancel, delay, change flights, move seats, and in rare cases bump/downgrade passengers from ticketed class of service. While we will do all we can to help, we are not liable or responsible for the actions of the airlines.
